This guide provides step-by-step instructions on embedding products and brand sliders into blog posts to enhance SEO and create shopping opportunities.
Step 1: Access the Website Backend

Log into your website’s backend.

Ensure you have identified the brand or product you want to feature in your slider or blog post.
Step 2: Locate the Product

Navigate to Products and open it in a new tab.

All products and brands flow from your POB via API.

Select a product and verify that it has inventory available.
Step 3: Create a Blog Post

Navigate to Posts > Add New Post.
-
Ensure that your categories and tags are already set up.
-
Enter a title for your blog post (e.g., "Test Blog Post").

Add your content (text, images, etc.) to the blog body.
-
Scroll down and edit the snippet for SEO optimization.

Aim for a score of 48 or above.

Set a featured image:

Scroll down to the Featured Image section.

Choose an image from the Media Library and set it.

Click Publish.
Step 4: Embed the Product in the Blog Post

Return to the Products section and search for the product you want to highlight.

Click into the product and copy the shortcode (bracket-to-bracket).

Go back to your blog post and select Edit.

Paste the copied shortcode where you want the product to appear.

Click Update.

Refresh the blog post to confirm the product is embedded.
Step 5: Adding a Brand Slider

If you want to feature a specific brand, follow the same steps:

Go to Brands and search for the brand.

Copy the brand shortcode.

Paste it at the desired location in the blog post.

If embedding a brand menu:

Copy and paste the shortcode at the bottom of the blog post.

Click Update and refresh the page.

Step 6: Convert the Brand Menu into a Slider

In the shortcode, change the term menu to slider.

Copy the updated shortcode and place it in the desired location within the blog post.

Click Update.

Refresh the blog post to see the brand slider in action.
Step 7: Final Review

Ensure that:

The embedded product appears correctly.

The brand slider is functional.
-
The blog post includes optimized content for SEO.

There are visible shopping opportunities within the post.
