This guide provides step-by-step instructions for accessing, customizing, publishing, and removing the 420 Deals Template on a WordPress website using Elementor, along with essential cache-clearing steps.
Accessing the 420 Deals Template
- Navigate to your website and log in.
- Access the WordPress dashboard.
- On the left-hand menu, navigate to Templates > Saved Templates.
- Locate "420 Deals Template Final".
- Click Edit with Elementor (open in a new tab).
Customizing the Template
- Review the template preview in Elementor.
- To edit text:
- Hover over the text element.
- Click to edit the title (e.g., "Don't Miss Our 420 Sales Event").
- Adjust typography settings under Style > Typography.
- Change text color by clicking the globe icon under Style.
- To edit the button:
- Click on the button element.
- Change the text (e.g., "Shop 420 Deals").
- Update the link destination.
- Modify button typography and color under Style > Normal & Hover.
- To change the background:
- Click the gray box in the upper-left corner of the section.
- Navigate to Style > Background Type.
- Adjust the color from the global brand palette.
- To replace the background image, click on Style > Image and upload a new image.
- Once all edits are complete, click Publish (upper-right corner turns purple when changes are detected).
Inserting the Template on the Homepage
- Navigate to the Homepage by clicking Visit Site (open in a new tab).
- Click Edit with Elementor on the top navigation.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the Folder icon and select Add Template.
- Go to My Templates and select 420 Deals Template Final.
- Click Insert and Apply.
- Drag and drop the section to the desired position (e.g., under the hero section).
- Edit the title if necessary by double-clicking it.
- Click Publish and preview changes using the Eyeball icon.
Removing the 420 Deals Template After 420 Event Ends
- Navigate to the Homepage.
- Locate the 420 Deals Template section.
- Right-click on the element and select Delete.
- Click Publish (purple button confirms changes were made).
- Clearing Cache After UpdatesExit Elementor by clicking Exit to WordPress.
Clear cache:
- Navigate to Elementor > Tools.
- Click Regenerate Files and Data.
- Sync the library and save.
- If applicable, clear additional cache:
- Click the Diamond icon in the top menu and select Purge All.
- If the Diamond icon is missing, go to LiteSpeed (or Hummingbird) and clear the cache.
